Apartment Configurator - UE5
This project was my first major solo project in Unreal Engine 5 — an interactive apartment configurator. The idea was to create an experience where users can both explore the apartment in first-person view and switch to an edit mode with a top-down perspective to customize different parts of the environment.
In edit mode, clickable icons appear around the apartment, allowing the user to change floor materials, furniture types, and other visual elements in real time. I also implemented a minimalist in-game menu accessible with the TAB key, where you can switch between modes, toggle between day and night lighting, play a cinematic sequence, or exit the application.
This project involved a lot of Blueprint scripting and system design, as I needed to make multiple pawns, UI elements, and interactive features work together seamlessly. It was a great exercise in combining technical problem solving with interactive design to create a smooth and functional user experience.
